25 Years ago, IXL invented the genuine Tastic®. Designed specifically to reduce energy use and with a series of clever in-built safety devices, the Easy Duct Tastic® range clearly leads the market in 3-in-1 heating, lighting and ventilation products. The Easy Duct models vent steam and odours outside the home via a specially designed ducting system and feature an advanced in line ventilation system that improves performance and flexibility. All IXL Tastics feature built-in separate safety devices making them the smartest choice. Tastic Heat Lamps and Inline Fans are covered by a 2 year warranty. All other Tastic components (excluding the centre bulb) come with a 5 year warranty.
Tastic Heat
The IXL Tastic provides instant direct Infra-Red heat from powerful heat lamps. These Heat Lamps are focused to give the heat where it is needed most, heating the person before the room. Four lamp and two lamp heat settings can be selected to suit your needs. The IXL Tastic lamps are economical to run. With all 4 heat lamps on a 275 watt Tastic uses less than 3 cents of electricity every 10 minutes. For bathrooms with higher ceilings (above 2.7 metres) a unit with 375 watt lamps is also available.
Tastic Light
The IXL Tastic features a 100 watt frosted bulb to give more diffuse illumination. By using the Smart Switch the light can be turned on and off from within the room.
Tastic Fan
The IXL Tastic has a powerful inline fan. This extracts up to 55 litres of air per second from the room. The Smart Switch enables the fan speed to be controlled from within the room. Most standard bathroom extractor fans are rated at 20 watts, the IXL Tastic has a 40 watt fan ensuring quick and efficient extraction of steam and odours.
Tastic SmartSwitch
The Smart Switch is a remote control unit which safely operates the various functions of the Tastic. It works either hand held or wall mounted in the bracket provided. This bracket can be located anywhere in the room. With the Smart Switch, the heat, light and fan functions of the Tastic can be changed to suit your needs. For convenience it also features an 'all off' Switch. The Smart Switch comes with automatic fan and heat lamp cut-off after 40 minutes if the Tastic is inadvertently left on.
